How often should we run a restore drill?
Quarterly for most businesses, and after any significant change to the environment. We schedule them and send you the result whether or not it went well.
Is off-site storage enough on its own?
It protects the data but says nothing about how long recovery takes. A copy you can restore in three days does not meet a four-hour RTO — which is why the two numbers are agreed first.
