Disaster Recovery Management

Defined RTO and RPO, a secondary site, tested restore drills and a documented runbook your team can actually follow.

What we deliver

Included in this service

RTO and RPO agreed in writing

How long you can be down, and how much work you can afford to lose — decided by you, before the design.

Secondary site or off-site copy

A second location, a colocation rack, or encrypted off-site storage, depending on what the numbers justify.

Scheduled restore drills

A calendar entry, a checklist, and a written result. A drill nobody runs is a document, not a plan.

A runbook your team can follow

Written for the person on duty at 2 a.m., not for the engineer who built it.

Why it matters

What changes for you

You know the number

"Fifteen minutes of work" is an answer a board can sign off. "We have backups" is not.

The first restore is not during the disaster

Drills find the broken assumptions while it is still cheap to find them.

How it runs

From first call to handover

  1. Assess

We audit what you run today — hardware, licences, workloads, pain points and growth plans.

  2. Design

A written design with sizing, redundancy, network layout and a clear cost breakdown.

  3. Implement

Build and configure in a staging window, with nothing pointed at production until it is proven.

  4. Migrate

Workloads move in planned batches, each one verified before the next begins.

  5. Handover

Documentation, credentials, runbooks and training for your team.

  6. Support

Ongoing monitoring, patching and support under an agreed response time.

Questions

Asked often enough to answer here

How often should we run a restore drill?

Quarterly for most businesses, and after any significant change to the environment. We schedule them and send you the result whether or not it went well.

Is off-site storage enough on its own?

It protects the data but says nothing about how long recovery takes. A copy you can restore in three days does not meet a four-hour RTO — which is why the two numbers are agreed first.
